Title:
Geotechnical Project Manager


Location:
Sugar Land, Texas


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage geotechnical projects from proposal development through project completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Schedule and supervise field staff, such as technicians and drillers, to ensure efficient project execution and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of testing, analysis, and correspondence.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis software.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior staff members.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

$65, $86,500.00 per year
