DCW/DSP needed in the East Valley. Healing Hearts Residential Care/Healing Hearts Youth Homes is looking to staff homes in a few different locations in Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert to work directly with people that qualify for DDD and also youth in DCS custody. Many times, these youth/young adults have Autism and can be anywhere on the spectrum.
We are currently looking to hire multiple Direct Care Workers for:
Mesa-Teen boys with developmental disabilities

NW Chandler-Adult Males with developmental disabilities


-DCS Youth Sibling Home ages 8-17
Gilbert-Adult Females with developmental disabilities

Mesa-DCS Teen Girls Home
Our members can have limited cognitive ability as well as potentially non-verbal or limited. The hours are varied between afternoons and evenings and overnights on the weekdays and all shifts on the weekends.

Our DCS kiddos are involved in many activities and need some love and support with school, sports etc.

Within days, the DCW's that we hire that show competence and excellence and have proven that they understand our mission and are capable, will be eligible for a merit increase and other advancement possibilities.

Other requirements:

• Must have impeccable communication skills and can problem solve on the spot
• Must be a good multitasker
• Must be loving and empathetic towards individuals with disabilities.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the primary caregiver and management.
• Help with members activities of daily living, companionship and recreational activities.
• Work with individual to develop his/her personal/growth goals.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings around the community.
• Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance and safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a bonus
• Background Check
• CPR\First Aid trained.
• High school / college diploma is a plus

We have many shifts to fill. We are looking for full time and part time hours available.


Our shifts are usually:
M-F 2-10PM & 10PM-8:00AM

Weekends or days off from school are 6:00AM-2:00PM, 2:00pm-10:00pm, 10:00pm-6:00am

we will be hiring for 3-4 staff for each shift.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)
• L1 Fingerprint Card (preferred)
