    Prestigious creditor rights law firm is seeking Virginia licensed attorney with 1-5+ years of experience practicing in the area of real estate, foreclosure and/or creditors' rights law. As you progress, growth opportunities become available based on performance.     Ideal candidate would be available for in-office assignment in our Hunt Valley, MD or Chesapeake/Virginia Beach, VA office. Remote work also available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Detailed review of documentation related to VA foreclosures to ensure compliance with state and federal law

    Communicate with client and courts in a timely and professional manner

    Attend court status hearings, mediations and litigation

    Manage portfolio of title curative and litigation matters related to VA foreclosures and other default related issues.

    Prioritize and manage a portfolio of active files and complete daily tasks to ensure legal action exceeds clients' timelines and expectations

    Day to day handling of the Virginia foreclosure pre-sale, post-sale and accounting processes

    Requisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

    · Have the mentality that we, all firm employees, support each other so that we can solve our clients' problems

    · High level of motivation with ability to work independently

    · Ability to multitask and be a team player

    · The ability to take changes as a positive and work towards constant process improvement

    Bar in Virginia required; additional Maryland licensure a plus.

    Education:

    Juris Doctorate, Virginia Law License Required
