- Neutronics/physics, thermal hydraulics, BWR, or PWR design of nuclear fuel assemblies and core reloads and/or nuclear analysis experience
- Familiarity with nuclear fuel neutronics analysis spectral/lattice codes (CASMO-3, CASMO-4, etc) and/or core simulator codes (SIMULATE, MICROBURN-B2, etc).

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Early Career BWR/PWR Core Design and Reload Licensing Engineer in Richland, Washington you will be part of the proven team in the Core Design Business Line in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include working as a part of a team that includes engineers from other departments and Codes and Methods development engineers as well as Project Managers responsible for different BWR fuel reload customers, assisting with core designs for BWR/PWR reload projects, reload licensing activities, and developing economic core designs and continuous improvement automation and optimization tools. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $90,000 - $122,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
