Summary:


This individual will:

• Support commercial accounting, equity trading, CRM, and backoffice information systems
• Develop and maintain data schemas, queries, procedures, and reports
• Design new and improve existing relational databases
• Create and manage data acquisition, migration, extraction and integration processes
• Administer relational database systems
• Monitor server and database performance, address issues in a timely manor
• Implement and maintain appropriate access and data security controls
• Ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness
• Collaborate with a team of system administrators and support specialists
• Develop and maintain database procedural and structural documentation
• Document system issues and resolutions in a clear manor
• Present status updates to management, IT staff, and customers
• Team with software vendors and contractors to troubleshoot issues and update systems
• Research new technologies and present recommendations
• Perform assigned maintenance tasks accurately and reliably with attention to detail.

You must possess the following:

• Expertise with database design principals, ETL processes and tools, SQL development
• 2+ years experience with MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS or comparable (Oracle, Sybase)
• Scripting experience with Powershell or equivalent (Visual Basic, Python, PHP, Bash, Perl, etc.)
• Experience supporting enterprise systems in a Microsoft Windows environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly document and present your work
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks to meet deadlines
• Ability to share and receive constructive recommendations among team members
• Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours

It would be great if you also have experience with:

• Experience with Salesforce or comparable cloud-based CRM systems
• Knowledge of general financial accounting principles
• Experience with cloudbased database environments, including MS Azure, AWS, etc.
• Understanding of highavailability database server concepts
