- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to asses students' current English language proficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills using a variety of engaging and interactive teaching methods.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and enhance their English language proficiency
- Monitor student's progress, track their performance, and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the students to support their goals and success.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in English language teaching and incorporate innovative techniques into tutoring sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and feedback to track performance and inform future instruction.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
- Proven experience as an English Tutor or teacher, preferably with a diverse range of students.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
- Patience, flexibility, and creativity in adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.
- Familiarity with language learning technologies and digital tools for online learning
- Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Teaching certification or ESL/EFL qualifications (preferred but not required)
