The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Engineering Mid-Level Manager for the MQ-25 Program in Hazelwood, MO. This role involves leading a team of Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software activities. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering exceptional products and services, working closely with other teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
The MQ-25 project aims to enhance the U.S. Navy's refueling capabilities through an unmanned aircraft system. By extending the range of key aircraft models, including Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet and Lockheed Martin F-35C, the MQ-25 plays a crucial role in naval operations.
As part of the VMS Software Team, you will be involved in developing and maintaining flight and subsystem control software for the MQ-25. Collaboration with software engineers, GNC engineers, and hardware engineers is essential for producing safe and reliable software. This position oversees the full software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project goals and quality standards.
