    Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    The Business Analyst builds and maintains relationships with the Firm's stakeholders and technical teams, gaining and displaying a thorough understanding of their priorities, day-to-day operations, and desired business outcomes to effectively lead efforts to envision and recognize change opportunities that support business process improvements


    Responsibilities include:

    translating business needs into functional and technical requirement that address system performance, localization, data protection, security, user authentication, storage volumes and other application or infrastructure characteristics; collaborating with and engaging appropriate technologists as needed; independently developing or aid in development of budgets and total cost of ownership, cost/benefit analysis, product and service selection criteria, and risk studies.

    The Business Analyst must have be highly skilled in the discipline of business requirements/analysis elicitation and facilitation, documentation, traceability, and process modeling methodologies and activity modeling practices deployed at the Firm; be able to efficiently and creatively use the software tools within IT selected for such activities; and be able to make informed recommendations where methodologies and processes fall short.


    Required Qualifications:
    Master's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

    Minimum five (5) years of work related experience including two (2) years of experience in positions with similar levels of responsibility.

    Experience is a law firm or comparable services industry required.
