Responsibilities

  • Extract, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of raw data using various data tools
  • Perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
  • Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  • Assign numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods.
  • Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and delivering actionable insights to relevant decisionmakers
  • Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
  • Work with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources

Required Qualifications

  • Korean & English Bilingual
  • BA/BS in related field such as Mathematics, Statistics and Data Analyssis
  • Data Analytic skills, including extracting, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
  • Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytics tools
(Prior experience in any of the following: SQL Server, MySQL, Google BigQuery)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in search analysis and business analysis
  • Experience collaborating with large crossfunctional teams
  • Experience in statistical analysis through the use of statistical packages including Excel, SPSS, and SAS
  • Experience using Tableau or Superset
  • Experience using a behavior analytics tool
  • Experience in any of the following programming languages for data analysis and ML/statistical modeling: Python, R, Java, and C++
  • Understanding of the following web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Web APIs

Pay range
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $54,000 - $58,000 (yr);

A full range of medical, 401(k), and/or other benefits on the position will be offered on top of your base pay.

Base pay information is based on market location. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations.
