Job Summary

Customer Service

Greets every customer in a quick and courteous manner. Provides a pleasant shopping experience for all customers and responds to customer inquires in a timely fashion. Handles all customer complaints according to company policies and procedures. Develops and maintains product knowledge and provides customers with product recommendations.

Cash Handling

General knowledge of all point of sale equipment. Processes customer sales accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures. Performs till balancing as per company procedures at the start and end of each shift. Ensures cash drawer levels are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Stock Control

Security & Loss Prevention

Maintains full control of the store and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss (i.e. drive offs or retail theft etc). Follows company policies and procedures for securing the premises upon end of day closure.

Cleanliness

Maintains a high standard of cleanliness.

Cleans in accordance with the Liberty's/brand specific sanitary standards including but not limited to:
sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walls, counters, tables and service equipment. Cleans the customer service area by removing trash, cleaning restrooms and the parking lot.

Teamwork & Communication

Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner. Helps other associates in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills. Communicates any issues of concerns and ensures all internal matters are presented to GM in a timely manner.

Occupational Health & Safety

Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, customers, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk.

Comply with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions. Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury. Reports to management any unsafe practice or condition and follows all Liberty safety initiatives.


Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak English language.
• Physically capable of standing for long hours.
• Pass background check.
