Responsibilities:


  • Oversees retirement programs for various groups of employees; this may include defined contribution plans, defined benefit pension plans and nonqualified executive deferral plans.
  • Analyzes programs, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancement; researches and recommends changes to Director of Total Rewards.
  • Educates and advises employees on regulatory requirements, tax implications, and administrative considerations of retirement plans.
  • Provides expert administration of qualified and nonqualified plans.
  • Works with vendors to develop and maintain quarterly and annual plan performance reports and recommendations for revisions or modifications to plans based on performance.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with plan administrators, financial advisors, benefits brokers, and other service providers and vendors.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, best practices, and legal and regulatory changes in retirement planning and administration.
  • Directs and develops staff to full potential. Coaching and mentoring as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:


  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, required
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of education

Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years experience with retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b) and 457(b) plans, required
  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience, preferred

Pysical Requirements:


  • Light Work
  • Exerting up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the worker sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
  • Occasional crouching, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, stooping, walking
  • Frequent typing/clerical/dexterity, hearing, seeing/monitor/computer use, talking, visual acuity( color, depth, perception)

Travel:


  • Occasional Travel the job may require travel from time
- to-time, but not on a regular basis.
