POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Provide exceptional client support and maintain good relationships with clients. Oversee a book of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Manage and oversee a book of business
Providing exceptional customer service in providing a positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strive to improve service to the customer
Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their business needs are met
Oversee the renewal process:
Timely communicating with the insured on any questions in regards to the renewal process
Studying renewal reports 120 days out
Coordinating electronic questionnaires to be sent to the insured to gather applicable renewal information
Having a strong understanding of the market in which clients would best fit which carriers
Obtaining renewal terms based on updated information
Preparing organized proposals using Word and Excel
Communicating renewal terms with clients and navigating any questions or concerns they may have to ensure they are taken care of
Communicate audit requests and results with insureds
Provide premium breakdowns as requested
Execute all changes to the policy as requested and monitor for receipt of endorsements
Prepare written correspondence and make telephone calls to underwriters or clients as requested
Quoting as requested for WC
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Overseeing Notice of Cancellations with Insureds
Invoicing on a timely manner as well as coordinating any invoice discrepancies
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ year's experience in the insurance Industry
Active P&C license or must successfully complete appropriate licensing exam(s) and/or maintain required licensing through continuing education courses
Ability to review and understand coverage questions and insurance policies
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Microsoft word and Excel
The renewal business process is very demanding, intense and high-speed job that requires the ability to appropriately deal with and succeed in high pressure situations
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
