Position Summary and Responsibilities:


C&K Holdings, the Drayage Specialist, is actively seeking a
Help Desk Level 1 Tech. This position assigns, assists with, and manages contractor equipment. The Level 1 Tech support position works with all terminals and departments nationwide to fulfill orders such as laptops, monitors, phones, and phone cases. The Level 1 Tech will provide remote assistant with mobile control and Samsung Knox for cellular devices. When problems arise, the Level 1 Tech will, when necessary, work together with the support team to quickly and efficiently solve the problem so that operations can continue to run smoothly.

  • Setup, configure and install drivers' equipment, such as tablets, phones, and cameras
  • Identify problems, troubleshoot, and actively provide advice to assist users in a courteous manner
  • Fulfill new equipment requests from all terminals by ordering from Amazon or shipping from HQ
  • Complete truck onboards
  • Remove trucks when terminated and ensure all equipment is returned within 1 week
  • Fix equipment or provide replacements when necessary
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheet by logging all equipment purchases and shipping details
  • Continually communicate with all terminals to verify current hardware stock
  • Monitor and filter, when necessary, websites deemed appropriate for workday use
  • Track trucks' locations across the country to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Ensure all new employees and contractors have their information synced to the proper software
  • Ability to work Mon
  • Fri; 8am 5pm

Minimum Required Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of operating systems, laptops, desktops, peripheral devices, network technologies (LAN, VPN), iPAD, iPhone, and Androids
  • Knowledge of Active directory and 365 environments
  • Microsoft MCP or A+ certification would be a plus
  • Knows how to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong desire and ability to problem solve while maintaining a high level of patience with users
