    THE ROLE:
    Account Manager

    Job Summary:


    As an Account Manageryou will be responsible for business development, new account acquisition, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction within our New England market Important activities include anticipating customer needs by proactively gauging customer requirements, responding to customer requests, preparing proposals, and developing solutions from available offerings.


    Travel Requirements:


    This position does require sometimes daily travel week to week and an occasional overnight hotel stay should your customer locationl require it.

    This role is mostly hybrid, we do have office Thursdays for our vendor partners (Woburn, MA).

    Job Responsibilities:
    Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate digital solutions & services (professional &/or managed services)
    Develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques ie> cold calling, video collaboration, in person meetings, off-sites (all with or without vendor partners)
    Maintain an understanding of customers' business & their respective markets by hosting executive briefings or quarterly business reviews
    For transactional business understanding BANT for certain sized deals is mandatory (Budget, Authority, Need/Outcomes & Timing)
    Meet or exceed annual revenue and margin goals working with inside resources, vendor resources & customer resources

    Adhere to best practices re:
    pipeline development and accurate forecasting / sales cycle mgt. via SalesForce & other internal tools
    Proficiency in proposal / business case authoring for larger more strategic opportunities (ie> rfp's , vision docks & unsolicited proposals)
    Help manage tier 1 customer sales orders and billing activities should escalations arise
    Understand each tier 1 customer's business model, map their organization and identify their unique technology needs on an ongoing basis

    Work with inside sales team to ensure accurate & timely quotes are provided & engineering resources are accounted for on a project by project basis (sometimes by customer).

    Develop partnerships with Vendor Field Sales Representatives and optimize the joint selling opportunities within the territory.

    Required Skills:
    SalesForce & other SaaS related platforms including most messaging platforms
    Ability to articulate Presidio's value add in each major go-to-market area

    (30 days)

    ie> data center, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, etc.

    Excellent organizational and communication skills that should result in mapped vendor reps for tier 1 customers

    (60 days)
    Ability to articulate tier1 customer business model, how the company is organized, makes money & areas for sales opportunity

    (90 days)
    Ability to solve problems with critical thinking, judgment, and strong decision-making skills based on customer knowledge

    ie> political / vendor landscape, upcoming renewals / refreshes

    Ability to articulate between capex, opex, SaaS, renting / leasing, MRR / ARR & provide the appropriate customer transaction vehicle
    Prior experience selling technology solutions from AWS, Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, Dell, Pure Storage, Professional & Managed Services
    Education and Requirements
    Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience and/or military experience
    5 or more years of outside information technology sales experience (customer facing)

    in cloud related Saas sales cycles, infrastructure, storage, network security, professional services or managed services preferred.
