Duties:


  • You will utilize complex Industrial Hygiene (IH) instrumentation, gather and analyze date and communicate findings to the cognizant Industrial Hygienist.
  • You will perform field measurements using Industrial Hygiene sampling equipment.
  • You will collect personal exposure data for laboratory analysis.
  • You will enter exposure monitoring data into industrial Hygiene appropriate data system.
  • You will serve as coordinator for exposure monitoring, equipment maintenance and calibration, inventorying and replenishing consumables.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
    GS08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Planning, coordinating and conducting industrial hygiene sampling surveys to collect exposure monitoring data to assess work practices and environmental conditions;

Providing technical consultation and equipment training to industrial hygiene
personnel;:

Following up on abatement action, researching sampling strategies and providing training to personnel

Supports the Industrial Hygienist with the completion of sampling and work operations;:


  • Writing technical briefs, procedures, sampling surveys and instructional outlines; AND
