Robert Half Finance and Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for an expansion opportunity with our client in the St.
Louis area.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization that offers a hybrid schedule and a strong work life balance.

It may also be a strong fit for a recent graduate looking to launch their accounting career.Key Responsibilities:
Manage transactional accounting activities including accounts payable and accounts receivable support
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month end close processes
Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
Support the preparation of financial statements
Utilize Excel to analyze data and assist with reporting needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
At least one year of general accounting experience or relevant internship experience
Strong Excel knowledge including formulas and data analysis
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of one year of accounting experience or relevant internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in team settings.
- Experience with general ledger maintenance and journal entries.
- Familiarity with month-end close processes.
- Knowledge of sales tax compliance and reporting.
