Marys, IA, our finance team is responsible for developing and implementing efficient financial planning, reporting, and accounting systems to support the goals of our operating departments.

By providing key information for strategic business decisions and closely monitoring financial transactions, we play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Recording and assigning business transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Preparation of monthly advance sales tax returns
  • Reviewing and posting travel expense reports, including reconciling credit card charges (AirPlus)
  • Executing payment runs
  • Creating and posting special provisions and reconciling accounts
  • Continuously optimizing accounting processes, including participating in digitization projects

Qualifications:

  • Commercial training with a focus on accounting/taxes and certification as a chartered accountant (IHK)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a certified accountant
  • Strong knowledge of German tax law
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or MS Dynamics
  • Enjoyment in establishing, improving, and optimizing work processes in accounting
  • Openness to change and new challenges
  • Excellent German and English language skills (at least B2 level)
  • Wellorganized and structured with a sense of humor and ability to work in a team
