Registered Nurse LeadThe Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity as a Registered Nurse Lead at the Montana State Hospital.
The Montana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults with serious mental illness. MSH is the only public psychiatric hospital in Montana that serves people admitted from communities across the state.
Registered Nurse Leads provide assistance and support to clients in maintaining a therapeutic environment. This position is responsible for monitoring and evaluating nursing services including providing immediate assistance and consultation in problem solving and decision making during crisis and high risk situations. Coordinates and reviews investigation of unusual incidents, patient grievances, complaints and allegations of abuse; and supervising assigned staff and patient services. Additionally, shift differential may available, and one meal is provided per shift.
This position is eligible for a statutory 4% an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
oRN Associate Degree
oCurrently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana.
oTwo years of experience providing supervision in a health care setting preferred.
