    Description

    **Job Title: MIG Welder**

    **Job Description**

    The selected candidate will be responsible for welding various parts in different materials. Duties include conducting dimensional inspections of parts to ensure quality, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and performing grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma). The welder will also adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives and safety programs, and perform general welding and shop duties as required.

    **Hard Skills**

    + Understanding of blueprints and technical drawings

    + Dimensional inspection

    + Grinding

    + Sanding

    + Cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma)

    This is a permanent position.

    **Work Site**

    This is a fully on-site position in Cleveland, Ohio.

    **Work Environment**

    This position is a good fit for candidates who have welded parts at BWXT, Cleveland Gear, or Horsburgh & Scott due to the size of parts/machines they would be accustomed to. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Team Manager and will have potential growth opportunities, including learning multiple different machining centers. The company boasts the largest Roll Forming & Press Break machine in the Northern Hemisphere and maintains a clean manufacturing environment. With secured government contracts for the next 50+ years, the company offers a stable work environment with no layoffs.
