The Butcher's Daughter is a busy, fast paced and vibrant vegetarian restaurant with three locations in the New York City area.

We are home to locals, and a destination to travelers and we are expanding our locations We are looking for a Baker for our Venice location.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of delicious pastries, breads, and desserts. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our bakery.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, breads, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards
• Ensure the proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Familiarity with pastry, bread & pizzas
• Familiarity with producing high volume production
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of baked goods
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining quality standards

Skills:

• Culinary creativity and passion for baking
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
