Processing Archivist - Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music (Part-time; Temporary)

Position Summary:
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Required Years of Experience: 1
Other Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in history, art history, public history, library science, archival sciences or related field
- One (1) year of experience working in the archival field or research services for special collections materials in a similar setting
- Must have a thorough understanding of the procedures used to preserve various types of materials
- Basic knowledge of ArchivesSpace and experience with archival digitization projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work well with colleagues, other employees, artists, donors, and lenders
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from varying heights, including the ability to push, lift, bend, kneel, and carry
