Are you passionate about early childhood education and helping young minds blossom?


We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Pre-K teacher to join our team In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the learning experience of our youngest students, nurturing their curiosity and fostering their social, emotional, and intellectual development.


Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Implementation:


  • Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
  • Develop and incorporate a variety of learning activities, including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, circle time, and outdoor play.

Instruction and Guidance:


  • Teach young children basic skills such as identifying letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
  • Foster the development of language, critical thinking, problemsolving, and social skills.
  • Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each child.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and growth.

Classroom Management:


  • Establish and maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Develop and enforce positive classroom routines and expectations.
  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, and field trips.
  • Ensure a clean and organized classroom space.

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and development.
  • Partner with parents to develop a cohesive learning approach for each child.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to ensure a wellrounded educational experience for all students.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
  • Valid teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required)
  • At least 12 years of experience teaching Pre-K or Kindergarten (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of child development principles
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patience, compassion, and a love for working with young children

$ $21.18 per hour
