LCSW
($33,059.52-$46,200.96/year),
Band 6: LICSW & LMHC ($39,960.96-$54,300.48/year)

CRCH is currently seeking a mission-driven
Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician to work directly and collaboratively with the urgent needs of outpatient patients.

The
Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician will provide ad hoc diagnostic and therapeutic clinical services and consultation during patient sessions. They will work the with the behavioral health team to identify opportunities to provide education to behavioral health interns. As part of a passionate team, the
Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician will provide coordinated care to members of the community who need it the most


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Carry a caseload of about 40 clients a week, providing biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and outpatient therapy to patients, across the lifespan.
  • Provide outpatient therapies for general behavioral health problems and areas of behavioral medicine (treatment planning/provision) to assist patients with meeting goals including, but not limited to stress management, grief/bereavement, anxiety/panic attacks, depression and mood management, insomnia and sleep hygiene, substance use disorders, and SPMI.
  • Attend Behavioral Health meetings to identify problems related to patient services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with outcome measures and data collection (when requested).
  • Prepare document services to include behavioral health services and documentation in EHR as appropriate and based on CRCH standards.
  • Communicate effectively while working within an interdisciplinary team.
  • Facilitate referrals for clinically indicated services outside of the primary care clinic with affiliated hospitals and within the community.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Behavioral Health.

Qualifications, Traits, and Competencies:


  • Current Massachusetts licensure in Social Work or current licensure in counseling (LICSW/LMHC/LCSW) preferred.
  • At least 1year of clinical experience providing direct clinical to clients required, preferably in community health, hospital, ESP or mental health setting preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese highly preferred.
  • CANS certified, or the ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Experience in mental health assessment/evaluation/diagnostic capabilities and crisis intervention/management.
  • Knowledge of evidencedbased treatment modalities and methods, including, but not limited to: traumainformed care, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, solutionfocused therapy, CBT, DBT, psychoeducation, mindfulness, behavioral activation, personcentered treatment preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources and services strongly preferred.
  • Clinic is open 8:30am7:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (Required to work one evening per week); 8:30am5:00pm on and Fridays.
  • Knowledge of psychopathy, psychopharmacology, behavioral medicine and evidencedbased treatments for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders treatment.
  • Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time, using our EHR system required.
  • Experience using EHR preferred.
  • Experience working effectively and collaboratively with a broadly diverse staff and patient community.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the intersectional impacts of racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, classism, and other forms of oppression required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be an effective team member required.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multitask required.
  • Ability to travel between both Charles River Community Health site required.
  • Experience working with BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA, MH, SUD and trauma strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings strongly preferred.
