Job Type: 100% in office (Chicago Loop)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $ 75, ,000 and commensurate with experience

Overview

  • Sourcing buyers for portfolio properties
  • Defining new channels of exit for existing portfolio assets
  • Production of content for OMs
  • Prospectively, sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating real estate acquisitions to support the firm's investment objectives
  • Approximately 25% of the time, broker/Analyst will work with Director of Analytics to on underwriting new and existing transactions
While no one factor will preclude you from becoming part of our team, some particulars about individuals we are targeting this role are as follows:

  • BS, BA in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Currently licensed real estate broker with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proven track record of success in brokerage; particularly with distressed assets.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience working with LoopN2et and Costar
  • Proficient in MS Office

Core Responsibilities:


  • Include ,but are not limited to:_
  • Conduct market research and analysis to assess property values, trends, and potential risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, brokers, and other industry professionals
  • In conjunction with the CEO, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and other contracts
  • In coordination with Asset Management, Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and due diligence processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive investment strategies (i.e. assets and geographies to acquire)
  • Stay abreast of market conditions, regulatory changes, and industry developments
  • Production of Offering Materials (content) in conjunction with marketing department
  • Pursue sales leads as well as originate new buyers for workforce multi assets using LoopNet and costar to originate new prospective buyers and identify new sales channels
  • Maintain buyer database for prospective targets for firm dispositions
  • Approximately 25% of time will be spent underwriting new deals and prospective opportunities
