Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent with a background in commercial construction to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical and design-related issues.
Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with inspectors to ensure work meets building codes and specifications.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to facilitate project progression and resolve conflicts.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
Experience with construction projects ranging from at least $1 million to $50 million.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
