We are currently seeking a candidate to join our Department of Traffic and Mobility in Forney, TX.

This position is available immediately and will initially be for a period of two years.


Your responsibilities with us will include:

  • Identifying and penalizing traffic violations in accordance with the Traffic Offenses Act, Road Traffic Regulations, and Penalty Catalog.
  • Conducting speed checks using stationary, semistationary, and mobile measurement technology. This will involve traveling to various locations in the Alb-Donau district, setting up and operating the measurement equipment, and monitoring traffic.
  • Analyzing captured images and determining the responsible driver.
  • Issuing warnings and fines, as well as enforcing driving bans.
  • Handling appeals and representing the county office in court.

Our requirements for you are:


  • Completion of training as a public administration clerk or a comparable qualification. Knowledge of traffic offense law, including warning and fine procedures, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and a willingness to work with modern technical devices for speed monitoring and analysis.
  • Willingness to travel to measurement locations with the enforcement trailer.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle often critical and sometimes upset customers in a friendly but firm manner.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within the team of the traffic offense department.
