As an
Applications Consultant with Vistex, you will be responsible for providing technical and business service and support to Vistex's Rights and Royalty Management Suite, focusing on contract management and royalty accounting.

The role also involves defining client requirements and collaborating closely with internal development teams to roll out new features and product enhancements.

Applications Consultants will receive training in the Company's enterprise level rights and royalty management software solutions, developed for the Media industry.

The incumbent reports to the Director of Media Client Services, based in the company's Los Angeles, CA office.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain indepth technical, product functionality and operational knowledge of the Vistex contract management systems
• Gather and document client requirements for new functionality, features and/or interfaces
• Produce clear, concise functional specifications, data flows and test specifications from which the development teams will develop new products, product enhancements and solutions
• Actively test and participate in the quality assurance activities for products; provide feedback to development teams on product performance, stability, quality and supportability
• Use case management tools to document problems, to provide updates (internally and to clients) and to record resolutions
• Develop system, support, and training documentation for use internally and with clients/endusers
• Train clients and colleagues in the Vistex software
• Other duties as directed or required

Experience:
Required

• 3 year(s): Applications Consultant (or Business Analyst) role
• Proven knowledge of software development, QA and implementation methodologies
• Exemplary clientfacing, technical and business service and support skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively develop and maintain client relationships
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, and pitch in anywhere, as business needs demand
• Enthusiastic, positive, cando attitude
• Strong organizational, analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently to meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work products and accountability
• Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Preferred

• Experience implementing or support ERP software in the Music space
• Experience with accounting/royalty participation software

Education:
Required

• Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field
