Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

months related manufacturing experience and/or training helpful

• Ability to write clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• Some lean manufacturing training and computer knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities:

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within the plant, by performing the following duties:

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials on trays or baskets to be washed and moved.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trays, racks, baskets and shelves by hand.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers, baskets or boxes.
• Stacks materials into bundles and bands bundles together with tracking information with them.
• Other duties may be assigned. ( box, bag inventory annual inventory cycle count )
