Description
Educator as a calling - Sport as a competence

Motivated educators with special qualifications: Educators with a focus on health, movement, and nutrition have the mission to playfully inspire children and adolescents to engage in physical activity and adopt healthy eating habits. More and more day care centers and youth facilities are offering movement programs and emphasizing healthy nutrition. This requires professionals with special qualifications. The training to become a state-recognized educator can be completed either part-time or full-time at ESAB.

Training profile: Health, nutrition, and movement through exercise leader licenses, nutrition consultant certification, and movement pedagogy.

Structure of the training

Our three-year training is based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth. The lessons are divided into five learning areas and are oriented towards professional situations - ensuring a close connection between theory and practice and preparing you for the job market. You can choose the elective module according to your interests and, for example, gain additional qualifications in sports or gain experience abroad.

Full-time training

The theory takes place Monday to Friday at the vocational school. The practical part is completed in an annual block internship.

Part-time training

The theory takes place two days a week at the vocational school. The practical units are carried out in the sponsoring company.
