    POSITION SUMMARY
    Under the direction of the
    CFO, the Director of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting will be responsible for the management of SEC public filings and audit, SOX compliance and

    writing/maintaining

    technical accounting documentation, investment and stock compensation fair value measurement and other duties as assigned by the
    CFO.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Perform technical research and ensure that proper GAAP accounting treatment is performed for all transactions
    Provide technical accounting support for all infrequent and/or significant complex transactions
    Direct and oversee all aspects of SEC compliance efforts including the coordination, preparation and analysis of financial statement filings, including press releases, to comply with GAAP and SEC requirements
    Prepare certain month-end close journal entries and account reconciliations
    Maintain and further strengthen Company's internal control and SOX compliance program
    Experience with fair value measurement of investments and equity based compensation
    Assist with reporting calendar and deliverables

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    Must have experience in SEC public filings – e.g. 10Q/K, 8Ks, Proxys and press releases
    5+ years of work experience in a national/large regional CPA firm on taxes, audit, and compliance; and/or similar Technical Accounting role
    Experience writing and maintaining technical accounting documentation
    Experience with SOX compliance required
    Knowledge of SEC filing requirements required
    CPA preferred, not required
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    Strong working knowledge of GAAP principles and financial statements
    Able to perform technical research and ensure that proper GAAP accounting treatment is performed for all transactions
    Assist in all aspects of SEC compliance efforts including the coordination, preparation, and analysis of financial statement fillings
    Detail-oriented, self-directed and able to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision
    Provide technical accounting support for debt and capital transactions
    Advance Microsoft Excel skills
