The ABM Shared Service Center is looking for a self-motivated individual who wants to grow and take their career to the next level.

This person will be given an opportunity to work as a business partner with the FP&A and operation teams within a shared service environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the accuracy of the Financial Statements for their Designated Region.
  • Ensures timely completion of monthend and daily tasks for Designated Region.
  • Manages and drives the monthly close process for Designated Region.
  • Supervises Staff and Senior Accountants.
  • Responsible for approving Time Sheets, Interviewing, Hiring, Coaching and Performance Reviews for Direct Reports.
  • Reviews and Approves Monthly Journal Entries.
  • Reviews and Approves General Ledger Account Reconciliations.
  • Aggressively and Timely manner Follow ups on Tasks to Ensure Completion.
  • Proactivity develop Solutions to resolve issues and improve accounting processes.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset and Positive attitude.
  • Assist with Quarter and Year End Audits.
  • Works well under pressure in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Ensures compliance with Internal Controls and establishes Controls and Procedures.
  • Ability to Communicate and Collaborate with FP&A Partners and other Internal Customers.
  • Proactively addresses Issues and Reconciliation items. Thinks outside the box.
  • Leads by Example.
  • Provides Exceptional Customer Service to Internal and External Customers
  • Job duties or responsibilities may be modified as needed to reflect changing priorities and/or work conditions with ABM.

Requirements:


  • 4 year college degree in Accounting is required
  • Shared Service experience preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years public accounting or industry accounting experience required
  • CPA preferred
  • Supervisory and management experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of JDE, Oracle, or Insight Accounting software highly preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Possess a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and coach
  • Commitment to teamwork through relationshipbuilding, reliability, and collaboration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with different management levels
  • Ability to work within deadlines in a fastpaced environment
