The Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI) enable blind, vision impaired and deafblind individuals achieve their maximum level of employment, education, and independence.

The Administration Division supports the Agency's mission by providing quality financial management, facilities management, policy and legislative services, and performance management.

All housekeeping duties are performed to maintain cleanliness and keep to the standards of DBVI.


DBVI is seeking a Housekeeping Worker to provide clients, visitors, and staff with a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment.


Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge/Experience

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and practices and the use of cleaning supplies and equipment. The physical ability to perform reasonably strenuous housekeeping tasks is required.
Abilities/Skills

  • Ability to understand and follow oral or written instruction and to work effectively with diverse customers. Equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to perform job duties.
