    RMG Outdoor, Inc. is seeking a degreed Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience . Your engineering skills with emphasis in structural steel will be an excellent fit to join our engineering team.

    Under the supervision of our Director of Engineering, your duties will include:

    Preparation of structural calculations in accordance with current IBC & ASCE Codes, AISC Steel Construction Manual & ACI Standards

    Preparation of structural drawings and details for permitting and construction using AutoCAD LT

    Address plan review comments

    Prepare preliminary drawings and provide member sizes to sales staff for bidding purposes.

    Create engineering tools for design using Excel, Risa 3d, Risa Foundation, etc.

    Working with Steel Detailing staff to coordinate and review steel fabrication packages.

    Other engineering responsibilities as assigned.


    SKILLS REQUIRED
    Working knowledge with AutoCAD

    Knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete design

    Experience with structural engineering software including: RISA, RAM, ETABS, or similar

    Experience with Excel as related to engineering calculations

    Organizational and communication skills

    Self-motivated and team-oriented

    Familiarity with design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC Manual of Steel Construction, ACI 318


    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
    BS in Civil (Structural Emphasis) or Structural Engineering

    A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is preferred

    EIT certification is valued but not required

    Compensation

    $72,000 - $90,000 Annually depending on background and experience.

    Bonus potential also.
