Supervisor, Center for Childhood Development Full Time Day***: Provide supervision to the Center for Child Development Staff and manage day-to-day operations at the center, including schedule maintenance, direct supervision and support of staff. To collaborate with interdisciplinary team. Will also follow the discipline specific requirements in accordance to state licensure and related hospital job description.
EDUCATION:
Minimally required education requirements:
Will follow the discipline specific requirements in accordance to state licensure and related hospital job description. Discipline of either Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathologist, Audiologist, Respiratory Therapist, or Social Work.
EXPERIENCE:
2-4 years of clinical experience in area of practice, pediatric population preferred. Leadership experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Will follow the discipline specific requirements in accordance to state licensure and related hospital job description. Discipline of either Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathologist, Audiologist, Respiratory Therapy, or Social Work.
- Ability to communicate and interact with relevant departments within the healthsystem, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members in accordance with Valley 's SERVE and CARE standards.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Effective group process skills; oral and written communication skills to express ideas clearly; listening skills. Ability to pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure; followthrough using appropriate channels of communication; pay attention to details, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure; function competently in stressful situations and the changing work environment related to changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes; work cooperatively with patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members (i.e., physicians, Rehab, Respiratory, DI, Lab, etc.); utilize effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations; and use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problemsolve.
- Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs
