Schedule:

Standard schedule will be Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm (70% of the time), however during cutovers evening and weekend hours will be required.


Potential Travel:

The Network Technician role will be based out of San Jose, CA with some travel around the Bay Area including Fremont and Santa Clara.


Pay Rate:
$34-$39/hr


Responsibilities:


  • Install wellfunctioning computer networks, connections, and cabling.
  • Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.
  • Inspect LAN infrastructure and troubleshoot problems/bugs.
  • Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work.
  • Vendor management

Requirements:


  • 12 years' experience as network technician or relevant position
  • Outstanding diagnostic, problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies
  • Handson experience with common software and hardware
  • CompTIA or Cisco network certification

Pay:
$ $39.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:


  • Network support: 1 year (preferred)
  • Computer networking: 1 year (preferred)
