Job Responsibilities

Perform opening and closing procedures following detailed checklists.
Ensure adherence to food safety and handling regulations by monitoring dates and temperatures of appliances and food items.
Handle tasks like washing, peeling, slicing, chopping, and storing ingredients.
Execute food preparation and cooking based on recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Portion and present food attractively on serving dishes.
Create and introduce special menu items for each service period.
Keep track of food quality and quantity to minimize wastage.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area consistently.
Have a thorough understanding of all menu items, including their garnish, content, and preparation methods.
Provide assistance in preparing for current and future kitchen station needs.
Check and ensure proper functioning, settings, and maintenance of kitchen fixtures, equipment, and overall conditions. Report any issues found.

Job Requirements

1 to 3 years of relevant experience in food preparation.
Completion of an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a technical school or two-year college, or a suitable mix of education and experience.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
Exceptional customer service aptitude.
