Forklift Operator/ Material Handler

Job Description:

Operate diesel or propane forklift to perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: Unloading/Loading trailers, unloading railcars, moving and staging materials, organizing inventory around the plant.

Operator will be in and out of the lift during various times of the day.


Responsibilities:

• Unloading/loading materials
• Maintain forklift usage records/safety checks
• Maintain a clean forklift and work area
• Ensure our products meet quality standards
• Inventory counting
• Forklift Driving experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliability, punctuality, selfmotivation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of weight without assistance
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Ability to bend, stand, walk, and climb for long periods of time

Additional Responsibilities:

May perform a variety of general manual labor tasks to assist in the everyday operation of the manufacturing facility when needed and when directed to by the Plant Operations Manager.

Salary:
From $19-$20 depending on experience

Schedule:
(7am-3:30pm) Monday-Friday occasional Saturday (Overtime can be required during peak season)

Forklift Experience required
