Responsible for performing takeoffs, analyzing plans, and performing calculations to determine quantities of materials and labor required to complete a given scope of work.
- Communicate with General Contractors, clients, vendors, subcontractors, designers, architects, and other parties related to the project.
- Generate RFIs (Request For Information), RFPs/RFQs (Request for Pricing, Proposal or quotes)
- Review sub and material pricing for discrepancies from the plans.
- Create landscape proposals using an Excel template.
- Communicate with clients regarding scope, timing of bid, delays, and bid followup.
- Document and organize all information regarding bids and transfer them to the build team.
Experience Desired
- 2 4 years of residential landscape or building construction/design.
- Literate in: blueprints, scope of work, and specifications docs.
- Microsoft Office suite use must be comfortable using
Excel as this will be the primary work platform. - Time management; Work on multiple projects concurrently
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Asks questions when unsure An interest in landscaping

Salary:
From $74,000.00 per year, paid weekly.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Education:
Bachelor's (Strongly Preferred) or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Language:
English (required) and Spanish (preferred)
Work Location:
In person at the office in Napa with occasional site visits in Napa, Sonoma, and Marin counties.
Typical Working Conditions:
Work is performed both in office and outdoor environments; some exposure to varying temperatures; exposure to dust, steam, controlled and hazardous substances, pesticides, herbicides, gases and chemicals; working around electrical current, and moving machinery parts; regular contact with staff and the public
Equipment Used:
Frequent use of company car, cell phone, copier and printer, standard office electronics and laptop.
Essential Physical Tasks:
Frequently sit for extended periods; stand and walk or crouch on uneven surfaces and may occasionally be required to lift to 25 lbs.
