    Description

    Our client is hiring for a Civil Engineer for Site Development:

    Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer with extensive background in stormwater/site development plus project management experience.

    The ideal candidate will have prior involvement with site analysis in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee area along with preliminary studies, design calculations and reports, development of construction plans and specifications, cost estimates and permit applications. We are looking for a driven individual who will work collectively with the Design team and has leadership capabilities.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Due diligence and site analysis
    • Prepare engineering or technical computations and prepare design solutions.
    • Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, transportation improvements, and project cost estimates/analysis, etc.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • B. S. in Civil Engineering
    • Site Development & Site Design: 2 years (Required)
    • Professional Engineering License in TN
    • 5+ years experience
    • Working knowledge of principles and practices
    • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation software packages
    • Capable of using Microsoft Office suite with excellent communication skills.
    • Team-oriented; excellent communication skills to work with team
    • Valid Driver's License. Must qualify under the company auto insurance program.
    • Ability to pass a drug test

    License/Certification:

    • Fundamentals of Engineering (Required)
    • Professional Engineer (Required)
