Customer Service - Returns and Warranty Coordinator

Jarvis Lighting, a leading manufacturer of commercial LED lighting, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service - Returns and Warranty Coordinator.


About the Role:


In this full-time position, located in Schaumburg, Illinois, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer service and managing product returns and warranties.

You will be the primary point of contact for customers with order inquiries, warranty claims, and return requests.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist customers with placing orders, resolving order issues, and routing complex inquiries to dedicated account managers.
  • Manage customer warranty claims, diagnose issues, and facilitate warranty resolutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure credit is received for defective materials.
  • Interface with our production team to understand product failure causes and maintain detailed logs for quality improvement analysis.
  • Proactively identify trends in warranty claims and communicate findings to improve product quality and prevent future failures.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all customer interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and effectively resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
