Customer Service - Returns and Warranty Coordinator
Jarvis Lighting, a leading manufacturer of commercial LED lighting, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service - Returns and Warranty Coordinator.
About the Role:
In this full-time position, located in Schaumburg, Illinois, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer service and managing product returns and warranties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with placing orders, resolving order issues, and routing complex inquiries to dedicated account managers.
- Manage customer warranty claims, diagnose issues, and facilitate warranty resolutions.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure credit is received for defective materials.
- Interface with our production team to understand product failure causes and maintain detailed logs for quality improvement analysis.
- Proactively identify trends in warranty claims and communicate findings to improve product quality and prevent future failures.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and effectively resolve issues.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
