We are seeking aMemory Care Resident Care Partner** for a luxury senior living community

Qualifications:
- Sufficient education to enable the performance of daily tasks with the understanding of what is involved. Personality attuned to the requirements of meeting needs of older adults. Fulltime community Care Partners must be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living; Provide resident care;
- Respond to resident calls;
- Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members. Communicates with other departments regarding scheduled activities; Communicate changes in resident care to management;
- Assists with resident outings and community events;
- Helps provide necessary assistance to ensure highest quality of resident life; Maintains confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information; Protect & honor resident rights.
Position Summary:
- The Care Partner is responsible for:
- Providing direct personal care and supervision to residents in accordance with resident's
- Offer choices, maintain and promote dignity and individuality in order to enhance the resident's
- Work with housekeepers and maintenance staff to maintain community cleanliness. Work with
- Dining Services to ensure resident's needs are met.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting and transferring, infection control practices, fire safety and universal precautions.
- Assist and serve residents at mealtime.
- Support residents in daily household task ensuring their apartments are neat and safe at all times. Respond quickly to resident alerts.
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
A High School Diploma or General Education Degree. Certified CNA or CMA a plus
Knowledge of Alzheimer's and other types of dementia
At least one-year experience working with residents with dementia
EMPLOYMENT STATUS:
Full-time position involving evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Charge Nurse
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Stands and walks short distances. Frequent lifting of pounds. Bends, squats, kneels, and reaches. Activity level is high.
