We are now looking to accelerate our momentum by expanding our founding sales team. That's where you come in.
About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive for Banking, you will own Arva's most strategic relationships. You are partnering with C-suite executives at mid-sized to large banks to enhance their financial crime compliance operating models.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring a sophisticated understanding of bank procurement, regulatory pressure, and the internal politics of global financial organizations.
Location: This role is based in New York City.
What You'll Do
- Strategic account management: Develop and execute multi-threaded sales strategies for a targeted list of banks and large-scale financial institutions.
- Complex deal navigation: Lead 6–12 month sales cycles involving rigorous Infosec, Compliance, Legal, and Model Risk Management (MRM) reviews.
- C-Suite advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to Chief Compliance Officers (CCOs), Chief Risk Officers (CROs), and Heads of Financial Crime, translating "Agentic AI" into tangible business ROI and regulatory safety.
- Revenue leadership: Consistently deliver against high-six and seven-figure ARR targets.
- Cross-functional orchestration: Mobilize Arva's CEO, CTO, and Product teams to align with the specific architectural and regulatory requirements of your banking partners.
- Proof-of-Value (PoV) leadership: Manage complex pilot programs and PoVs, ensuring clear success criteria are met to transition smoothly into enterprise-wide production.
About You
- Banking expertise: 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically selling into mid-size and large Banks.
- B2B SaaS sales experience: Proven track record of closing $500k–$1M+ ACV deals and navigating stakeholders across large organizations.
- Domain authority: Deep knowledge of the regulatory landscape (BSA/AML, OFAC, KYC, etc.). You speak the language of bank auditors and regulators.
- MEDDICC disciplined: Master of sales methodology, using it to map complex power structures and identify "Champions" vs. "Economic Buyers" within a bank.
Ideal, But Not Required
- Prior experience at a tier 1 consultancy or a major bank in a compliance/technology capacity.
- Background in a high-growth RegTech or FinTech startup (Series A+).
- Existing relationships within the compliance and risk departments of major financial institutions.
