- Handle Federal, Commercial and International contracts as needed.
- Facilitate lifecycle for handling proposal, grant and similar opportunities.
- Administer proposal processes lifecycle throughout the company utilizing RFPIO or similar.
- Identify subject matter experts relevant to proposal responses in pursuit of RFI, RFP, RFQ
- Write and edit responses to proposals based on subject matter expert interviews.
- Conduct research for prospective request for proposal/information (RFP or RFI) opportunities.
- Review marketing material for adequacy regarding claims of technical or functional claims of company product(s).
- Create/Review customer facing information and marketing materials including but not limited to Product/Service white papers and other Company content as needed.
- Review company legal documents for adequacy in cooperation with legal department including but not limited to Vendor agreements, Customer agreements, 3rd party/reseller agreements.
- Assist Company Compliance team with research concerning International Regulatory Authorities.
- Draft Statements-of-Work (SOWs) in concert with business development opportunities for existing and prospective customers.
- Participate with the development of manage services, educational and support offerings to the existing customer base.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience using RFPIO software or similar program preferred not required.
- Demonstrated examples of successful acquisition of grant(s) and proposal(s) resulting from submitted proposals.
- Legal research and investigation skills.
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 7 hours per day.
- Ability to utilize telephone for approximately 1 hour per day.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to perform simple grasping, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout the entire workday.
- Continually remain in a stationary position throughout day.
- Occasionally move about inside and outside the premises.
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally travel using a motor vehicle or utilize air travel.
