Description

Role: Mainframe Devops (Gitlab, CA Endevor)
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Type: FullTime

"1. Good understanding of z/OS systems and application landscape and z/OS application

In depth understanding of Endevor as SCM and deployment tool
In depth understanding of the IBM Z DevOps portfolio including Urban Code Deploy, IBM IDz, IBM Deploy, GitHUB. IBM DBB
Experience in Groovy scripting
Prior experience in Mainframe modernization

Will be responsible for leading the migration of application from CA Endevor to IBM tool set mentioned above.
Will be responsible for employing technical expertise to ensure smooth execution of the migration.
Will be responsible for collaborating with various stake holders to resolve issues and roadblocks.
Will be responsible for the creation, execution and testing of groovy scripts for the compilation and deployment of code in Mainframe.
Will be responsible for the creation, execution and testing of scripts for the extraction of code from CA Endevor and migrate it to Git.
Will be responsible for training user on the tools usage such as IBM IDZ, Git, IBM DBB etc.
Will be responsible for user migration from CA Endevor to Git.
Should be able to work with other vendors and device strategy/approach for migration, testing, execution and validation."
