Job Description:


AECOM is currently seeking an Urban Analyst to join our Global Urban Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) within AECOM's Buildings + Places business line in Arlington, VA.

This individual will work collaboratively with core team members of the Urban Analytics COE as well as other AECOM teams to deliver quality products and solutions to our clients around the world.

This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.


Responsibilities:


  • Under direct supervision, may complete scientific assignments of limited complexity.
  • Work on a wide range of products, projects, and tasks.
  • Perform data mining, data manipulation, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Create reusable scripts and data pipelines to automate procedures.
  • Develop graphics, maps, reports, and presentations.
  • Work on multiple projects and tasks.
  • Work in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with project team, and collaborate on project scope and delivery.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements


  • BA/BS or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of R, python or JavaScript.
  • Data visualization Skills.
  • Experience with web development.
  • Experience with ArcGIS.
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other programs/libraries in python or R.
  • Experience with database such as writing queries/scripts to retrieve or manipulate data.
  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards/ tools.
  • Experience working with spatial data, spatial R, and open-source GIS.
  • Experience with core Data Science skills in data engineering, machine learning methods (regression, classification etc.).

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $61, $77,347.00.
