    Park View ,a 5-star rated, 123-bed Care Center, has a rare opening for a Full-Time Environmental Services Director to join our team.

    In this role, you will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the housekeeping and laundry department in a senior care community.

    You will ensure that the highest degree of clean laundry/linens and facility cleanliness is maintained. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent customer service and time management skills.
    This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position.
    Responsible for managing the departments of laundry and housekeeping.
    Ensure that all linens/laundry and facility cleanliness is maintained.
    Interview, hire and train all environmental services staff.
    Assist with schedules for preventative maintenance programs for equipmentand make sure itis in good operating condition.
    Communicate and build relationships with outside vendors to ensure contracted services are performed.
    Serve on Safety Committee, managing records, and reviewing surveys.
    Interact with health and safety inspectors to ensure the safety of all residents and staff.
    Respond to emergencies on an on-call basis.
    Perform other tasks as needed.

    Environmental Services Director skills and requirements:
    Previous experience in Long Term Care/ Assisted Living preferred.
    Previous supervisory experience.
    Knowledge of state, federal, and OSHA regulations.

    Ability to work effectively with others within an interdisciplinary team and professionally interact with residents, family members, staff, corporate leadership, and outside contractors.

    Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
    Self-motivated, able to work as a team leader/supervisor, organize departmental goals and objectives
    Ability to prioritize multiple requests throughout the day.
    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
