Murray Mechatronics Technician at CLAAS

At CLAAS, our harvesting machines and production systems are equipped with the latest technology and electronics.

That's why an apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician at CLAAS is the perfect start to an exciting and dynamic work environment.

During your training, you will learn and work in both development and production, as well as maintenance. You will work with various materials such as metals and plastics, using both manual and machine techniques. Whether it's mechanical, electronic, or hydraulic components, you will learn how to combine these mechatronic systems. You will also learn how to conduct error analyses to ensure that the systems are functioning properly. This requires not only technical understanding but also strong math and physics skills.

As a Mechatronics Technician apprentice, you will build control cabinets for our production systems and learn how to properly wire and install components.

You will also maintain and repair the built production systems.

Your training will also include tasks such as measuring and testing systems, as well as installing and testing hardware and software on our harvesting machines.

As a Mechatronics Technician, your training is all about the motto:
"Training meets excitement."

Training Structure:

The practical training will take place at the Technical Education Center and in the specialized departments, under the supervision of full-time trainers and training coordinators.

The vocational school classes will be held at the Carl-Miele Vocational College in Gütersloh.

Theory: 1-2 days per week
