Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Plant Managerat our manufacturing plant located in Orlando.
As a Plant Manager you will be responsible for the execution of all manufacturing operations including Product, Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Safety, Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Controls.
While overseeing the growth of these processes, you will also be accountable for the development of all the plant's employees.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring department and employee performance aligned to performance metrics
Training and developing employees to support business processes and needs
Being focused on excellence and productivity
Coordinating with supervisor to ensure safety meetings and behavioral observations are being preformed
Collaborating with the Safety team to ensure all safety documents, records and guidelines are followed and completed
Monitoring reports and equipment to ensure accuracy, safety and budget compliance
Facilitating production meetings
Managing the workforce including hiring, training, development, performance management and terminations
Overseeing the development and implementation of companywide policies and procedures
Assisting with various administrative duties and reports as required
Qualifications:
Proven management experience within a manufacturing environment
Must be a proven leader with results in building capability and developing others
Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Superior written, verbal communication and public speaking skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
