Network Administrator (m/f/d)Full-time, permanent · Cologne
Your responsibilities:
- Administration and maintenance of network components in schools and business clients
- Support of service providers in the installation of network components
- Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of reported issues onsite or remotely
- Collaboration in projects within the network area and across departments
- Development and optimization of network environments
- Further development of the network concept for operation in schools and business clients
Your profile:
- Completed education in the IT field (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or a degree in computer science, or equivalent experience as a career changer (m/f/d)
- Ideally, you have certifications from Cisco (CCNA), Aruba (AMF), or Fortinet (NSE4)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team and solutionoriented
- Strong customer and service orientation, as well as a structured and careful working style
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
- Fluent in German, additional languages are a plus
Your experience:
- (In-depth) knowledge in the following areas is desirable:
- Network technology, especially in the areas of routing, switching, and VPN
- Operation of LAN components in heterogeneous environments
- Ideally, experience in planning and implementing network concepts
- Knowledge of Extreme Networks, HP Aruba, Huawei, and Fortinet is desirable
