Mental Health Clerk like you at the
Arizona Department of Corrections - Eyman located in
Florence, Arizona.

Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN shifts are available.

PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Pay rates based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

Responsibilities for Mental Health Clerk:

Coordinate and serve as liaison for specialty courts and transfers
Assist in the oversight of the mental health intake process and sick call
Conduct rounds with the physicians and mental health staff to meet with patients to discuss placement options, organize records for transition, and provide advice regarding community assistance organization, transportation options, etc
Assist patients with the identification of a support network, instructions for future care and followup, and concerns, complaints, and requests regarding care upon discharge
Liaison for all referrals for involuntary examinations or crisis stabilization
Liaison for all inpatient care management
Coordinate care and build relationships with community agencies, shelters, employment agencies, drug and alcohol counselors, or other social service organizations
